anyone played red dead redemption? was recommended it when a friend heard I liked the GTA games.

I wanted to play it, but it isn't offered on pc! Heard it is great! Wish they would make a port...

I've got Red Dead on the PS3, the zombie version. It's like GTA... but on horseback in the old west with a bunch of undead chasing you. I haven't gotten very far because I'm still working on 2k12, and GT5. If you want the PS3 version, I can let you have it for NT500? I'm guessing I'll never get to it.

Any real gamer plays on much higher resolution than the PS3... The PS3 version is painful at best....

I play on the xbox. I do miss PS3 though... those were the days where I'd go over to my buddy's apartment and play COD with our group of friends (and the world). When time came I were to get a console of my own though I went with the xbox, which unlike PS3 you have to pay for the online service. I kind of miss call of duty, black ops and mw3 are tied as my favorite shooter games on a console right now.

For Skyrim you can go ahead and get it now if you want to play..most of the issues have been ironed out. PS3 had some framerate issues at first after long play times but that has been alleviated...most of the other issues people have had are quest related and those have been patched as well..can't really think of anything major that's a problem now. Even occasional freezes seem a thing of the past, can't remember having any lately.

Waiting for a GOTY version isn't a horrible idea either, but that's likely gonna be some time from now, and it's a lot of game to take on in the first place. It's the kind of game you don't play with the goal of finishing...you start er up and explore and do a few things, by the time you know it a couple of hours are gone. Part of my long play time has to do with the fact I don't fast travel in the game..personally I'd found doing that makes the game more enjoyable.

I saw that they're going to release some kind of alternative/extended ending to ME3..and that it'll be available for free for 2 years..so once that's closer to coming out I'll probably dive into it.

No idea skyrim was so explicit. Looking forward to it.

currently playing Halo 3 on X-box 360. Awesome, but....I still have a tiny little TV..multiplayer is hard..can't see anything hahah.

Are you playing the English version of the game? If you are, where did you get it? I can only find the Chinese one.

I'm in the middle of a few games at the moment, and all are epic RPGs, so I have many, many, many hours of gameplay waiting for me. I won't be buying any new games anytime soon. I spent several hours playing Skyrim last night. It took me a minute to get back into the style of combat, but I had a blast dungeon crawling last night. I'll probably do more tonight. Anyone watched the making of Skyrim video people posted on YouTube? It came with the collector's edition, but thank god for the information age, eh? It's pretty cool. I haven't finished it yet.

I was playing (and loving) Borderlands, at least until my save data got erased...grr... FSP sci-fi RPG is a pretty cool combination. I still need to finish Batman: Arkhym Asylum...
