Shipping a TV back to America

I don't know where else to put this, and since it's technology related (HD flat screen TV), I thought I'd ask here. So, I want to ship my TV back to the States. Will I have to pay tax on it when it goes through customs?

tv are pretty cheap in the usa. Go to Walmart, Best Buy, etc.

It cost me $1,900 NTD to ship my TV back (by sea).

which shipping service did you use?

I used the normal Taiwan postal system. I even sent the TV in the cheapest and slowest method (by sea).
