Best Smartphone

Postby trubadour » 27 May 2012, 20:14

I just poured water over my iphone 4. Accidentally, of course.

I'm therefore pondering a replacement. I guess this is one of those subjects where everyone has a point of view. I was hoping I could explain what I liked about the iphone and see what can be done in a replacement.

I disliked mainly the bulk. It was too heavy for my pocket.

I disliked also how slow it had become

I liked the reader function for text on webpages

I liked the hotspot function

I use gmail and google calendar and google maps a lot.

Any ideas?

My wife recently replaced her iPhone with a Samsung SII and is more than happy with it.

Put it in the middle of a bag of rice for week and it will be fine. Make sure it is air tight.

A woman calls the nursing home to see how her dad is doing.
'He's like a fish out of water.'
'You mean he's having trouble adjusting?'
'No, I mean he's dead.'
