The above is not correct. Check bandwidth throttling on the Wiki. Several ISP throttle down the P2P speed to their servers , which go through http.

Why?
Because I reach speeds of +1Mbps when using my USA VPN setup vs. having the same slow speeds reported by some if only using my local 60 Mbps plan.
and after being with kbro previously, I am sure they do
