How to sell used desktop computer components

Postby calitotaiwan » 14 Jul 2012, 17:34

I want to upgrade my computer, but don't know how to sell parts, such as Motherboard or GPU.
Any recommendations for websites or a method to sell it?
I can only think of tealit.com and yahoo. But my gf would have to help me with yahoo, cuz my Chinese isn't that good.

Do you think that people in Taiwan want to buy outdated computer parts? Most is obsolete, throw it out for recycling or reuse in a third world country.

ruten and yahoo are good places to try it out.

Depending on how old it is, you will or not be able to sell them.

What do you have?

People LOVE to buy second hand stuff here. I unloaded ram, cpus, video cards and headphones without any problem. Depending on what computer stuff you have, there's a good chance they will snap it up fast.

I'm talking about a 3 month old (works perfect) GPU: MSI 560-Ti
I want to get higher frame rates and higher quality settings in games.
It is not outdated at all. It's highly wanted, but I don't know how to sell it.

Ask some help to put your GPU on yahoo bid if not Chinese literate. Best place.
Also post in the Forumosafieds as yours is only 3 months old. Someone might just need a second hand to upgrade his , not willing to buy new.

Why not buy a second for SLI? Great performance boost for little money. Also, a 560Ti is slightly outdated. Most people want a card from the new series (especially the 670).

If it was 2Gig I probably would have bought it. SLi setups are great and about a 560Ti being outdated... Trust me, plenty of people will snap it up fast if the price is right. I've had no problem moving 2nd hand computer stuff here, especially a Q6600 and Q9550 that sold within minutes of listing.

Indeed.
It will not be a problem at all.

Check yahoo and ruten.
Compare the price of others and put a bit cheaper - It will goes very fast.
