Any discounts are applied to your CHT bill... you'll see that.

For example, we have FTTB and Hinet and we're LONG term subscribers to MOD. So we never see the full rates charged for these. It's not something we focus on, though .

hi guys I read the first couple pages and many people said not to get them....but that was from 2009's posts...so how's MOD nowadays? any better? how r they compared to cable tv? moving to a new condo and not sure if I should get mod/fiber or just cable tv and fiber

I just got MOD and have Cable as well, for my mind it's much better for programs. I only watch 3-4 channels regularly though. For my money, the BBC channels are more than worth it.

MOD's channels are all better? even the non HD channels r better than cable channels or no? read somewhere that it's hard to get the right size/resolution or to take out some outer box thing....tivo will work with mod right? I got the tivo from costco...it's not called tivo in taiwan but I forgot what it called

define better? I don't use Tivo but the resolution is fine. I just changed TV's and had no problem.

I got it about a year and a half ago -- really like it -- hardly watch the cable channels anymore. I agree about the BBC channels being worth it -- plus it is much better for news (lots of worldwide news channels) and sports (if you are interested in sports). I haven't had any problems with resolution. It has come a long way from the early days. They also have the Fox channels, if you are interested in them -- can't stand them myself -- constantly interrupt what you are watching to advertise their other programs -- seems like every 5 or 10 min they stop and give you at least 5 or 10 min of adv for their other shows.
