Whatever. I like its technical features, the extra storage space, and the smooth ride. I don't need to haul mobile homes.

That's brilliant! I'd never heard of such a car. You've made my day.

Ahem! You saw it here first (if you were paying attention).

Photo seems to have gone though. I'll have a quick look at restoring it.

Nothing...SOT is still here, but they don't have the WRX in their lineup since selling out the 26 2008-'09 WRXs they brought in. They still sell the Forester, Legacy and WRX STI.

Thats the problem, the legacy has god awful suspension and a slushbox, great boot though.
The forester is not as good as the old one, but its priced well, problem is its got a 4 speed slushbox.

The only sub that made sense was the 1 million WRX hatchback, now its just the overpriced posers STI without the hatch or the mediocre models mentioned above :(

I bought a MK6 gti btw, its the only car in the 1.4 mill price range that can get increase your heartrate

I love my ride....Impractical, impossible to park, and gets a whopping 430km off of a 100liter tank of gas on a good days city driving. If you drive a Prius...I'm the reason you have to :D

Damn ... I can't believe someone else has actually heard of this thing.

I'm working on a modern version of this (eight-inch prototype stands up, but that's all so far). I think those early pioneers misunderstood bicycle dynamics, and modern control systems theory has moved on a lot since then. Basically, I think it's impossible to manually steer such a vehicle - it must be drive-by-wire. The nice thing is, inertial reference platforms are dirt-cheap these days; likewise with computing power. Bizarrely, the only thing that's still difficult is running a gyroscope at high speed under vacuum. Bearing technology hasn't moved on that much.

Honestly I think my RSX would be a great car for the wan, cept Id get an automatic one for the endless taipei traffic jams. My stick shift has a really heavy clutch that would wear my foot out if I was in taipei traffic with it.

Its got great room for two 177cm people plus great room for two 160cm like people in the back. And still room for two large suitcases. Looks real nice and drives very sportily. Not hugely fast but BMW 325i fast.

PLus I get bout 45 km per 3.8Liter which would keep the fuel costs low, plus it only needs 92 not 95 or 98.

YOu got some cool rides. Iv driven Jeeps here (but only one the road as the car belongs to the dealer and they wont let me go offroad) and I like the FJ cruiser.

Which was also a dealer car on a demo. NO offroading

Somehow the FJ feels like u are driving a pretty large vehicle when actually you are not. And iv seen one tow a pretty large boat too.

I should drive my friends. He drives his when he is not driving his Gallardo (seriously).
