Looking to buy a house( apartment )

I been eyeballing Taoyuan due to the fact its cheaper and not that far from Taipei, looking for a 3 bedroom, 2 baths, 50-80ping ( depend on price ) prefer newer place 5 yrs or less but will seattle for 10 yrs or less if the place is nice enough.

Under parenting forum some suggests I look in Taipei County (NTC), but prices there are a bit higher from what i see online 85house etc... Danshui, Yingge, and some other out of hot zone cities. Can anyone suggest any more cities? Or what else I should look for.

My budget is around 5mil to 8 mil can go a little over but like everyone would love to spend as less money as possible. Do not intend to be working right off the bat so location can be of wide range. Will have a car, looking at the Ford Escape, since its cheapest. Someone mention get the honda, do anyone here have any suggestions or comment? Oh one thing I do CARE for a lot is house location area is in a good school district, I have a 20 month and a 2 month old baby that one day will be attending school. Any advance or comment would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Mmm, the school district is a deal breaker. I'd go for Yonghe -there is an area closer to Xindian, also, almost behind Nanshijao, also around Dinxi, you can stil find homes at your budget yet nice.

I would not go all the way to Danshui, but rather Hongshulin or Chilian. That would push the price. By Tamkang University you have very good deals, but I am not sure what's the school situation over there.

Definetively no Yingge, Sanxia, Luzhow or Linkou when it come sto schools/facilities and other stuff. At least, not yet. Or in the near future.

A budget of 5 million won't get you more than 20 ping anywhere closer than Danshui (coming in from the north - red line MRT).
8 million will get you a 30 ping place in Zhuwei, Kuandu (Guandu) or Hong shulin, but probably not Chilian unless the builing is very old....
