I think the survey instrument needs more granularity. I suggest three groupings:

vegetative stoner
hyperactive but not paranoid stoner
paranoid stoner

evening drunk
24 hour drunk
binge drinker

day stoner evening drunk
day drunk evening stoner
7/24 stoner drunk
