Where are those old blitz players?! We will be running 2 blitz games from 9 - 11 P.M. starting next week.

We're sticking with Starbucks on Wednesdays for now.

Shi-Da Rd. No. 74 in the basement or B1.
Cross street is Yunhe St.

We're getting some good Western Chess players and playing blitz games now.

Do you guys meet every Wednesday then? I'd like to drop by, but I might not be able to make it next week. Man, it's been a long time since I last played some good OTB chess.

Yes, we have been meeting every Wednesday from 7-11 at Shi-Da Rd. Starbucks in the basement. It's become a fixed meeting time.

Please go the Facebook group "Taipei Chess Queen Club" for updates. I posted pictures of the games we have been playing.

Hi everyone. Just a reminder that we are still meeting every Wednesday at Shi-Da Starbucks and are averaging around 8 players. We're playing mostly Chess, Xiangqi, Go, and Shogi.

Just posting to say that there might not be a meeting this week (due to CNY).

However the club is still alive and we meet at Starbucks on Shi-Da Rd (basement), Wednesdays ~20-23 (people come when they can after work, some show up around 19-20 and others later).

Hi everyone. We're having a meeting tonight at Starbucks and will be playing blitz games with a strong player from out of town. We meet around 7:30 P.M. in the basement of Starbucks on Shi-Da.

I made a chess tournament calendar. Most tournament organizers speak some English, so just send an email if you want more info about a particular tournament.

perafelix: They are walking distance from each other.

Tomorrow I'll go to Starbucks (since there is a restaurant by Shi-Da Rd I like), and if nobody is there by 21 I'll walk to Black Knight. At least I prefer a latte at Starbucks over the black coffee at Black Knights anyway (which is by no means praise over starbucks latte).
