I recall in the 70s and 80s that the actors in pornographic films at least made an attempt to portray the carnal as "love-making". What passes as "erotica", of late, disturbs me somewhat. The trend seems to be more towards gonzo, nasty stuff. Are tastes changing? Or has the industry finally cottoned onto what people really want from their porn?

I, personally, yearn for the days where the portrayal of celluloid sex was done by real actors and actresses, rather than some bloke with a webcam's auntie and uncle.

I'm all for an earnest return to wholesome family values in pornography. The current nastiness vexes me.

But my Mom's lingerie catalogue was at least filled with moral fibre. It didn't have 15 guys doing horrible things to the heads of nice ladies.

And anyway, I don't want to google "softcore". I like to watch films where people are ACTUALLY fornicating. I'm merely disturbed by the violence that I encounter of late. I'm sensitive like that.
