I confess I actually thought this Gits Ferrari one was quite readable for a quick skim. I too like the way he wove in SARS and 11/9, and I quite enjoyed the writing style, too. I couldn't help thinking it was completely made-up, though -- its just way too apocryphal to be real. I've heard pretty much ALL the anecdotes, some of them many times, over the last 20 years.

Last week, I passed by a second-hand bookstore in Shi-Da area. They had very nice promotional material advertising your book and it caught my interest, so I went in with the intention of buying a copy. But, they don't have your book in stock. Are you distributing yourself or using a local agent? You might want to make sure stores that are advertising have some stock or are willing to order in for customers.

Also, many thanks to those of you who have downloaded my book and NOT commented. I've been getting a lot of private mail with exciting feedback on the book. I'm really looking forward to getting this sequel out. It seems that everytime I get the document open, my grandmother needs attending to.

I am printing and distributing the book myself right now. (In Taiwan, I farm it out due to the cheapness) I registered White Monkey LLC as a publishing company, and I bought a block of 10 isbn numbers to register books. Since I don't have other writer's works to publish, I decided to create my own tangible asset.

If some company came along and wanted to distribute the book, I'd do it, but if they only wanted to pay me a small amount, control it, own it and restrict me from doing things with it, then I'd tell them to take a hike, because I have a long term grass roots marketing plan that I believe would serve my lifestyle better.

Fuck money.

Despite agreeing with a lot of the critics, I did enjoy reading this book. I felt depressed, if a little inspired.

So when's that sequel coming out? I'd like to read that, too.
