The DVD is out for rental already, it will be available for sale from 30th of April 2012. It's the "long" version, that was shown in Taiwan cinemas as two parts. I didn't have it in my hands yet, so I don't know for sure yet what subtitles are included. As soon as I know I will update here...

Watched the bluray (both Taiwan and Hong Kong versions) the other day and enjoyed it very much. FYI, In terms of audio/video quality, Hong Kong bluray is far superior to the Taiwan version.

Great, now I can watch after a really long period of waiting.. I tried watching it on a Singapore Airlines flight, but the subtitles were in Chinese :)

Is the second disc anywhere near as utterly craptastic as the first one? I sat through the first one but based on that, there's NO WAY I'm subjecting myself to any more of that shite. PLEASE! Tell me part two is better. A LOT better!

It will undoubtedly win an Oscar for craptasticity. I attempted a review back on page 10.

If any new arrival needs assistance in Taipei, I can provide it in exchange for Star Trek or Supernatural (the TV series) stuff or other sci-fi materials. Let me know what help you need by PM, along with what you have to offer in return. And yes, I am serious.

Mine is pirated on two discs only. The first one ended with native-types running about murdering some other fellows in navy-blue uniforms. What happens after that? Apart from some extremely stilted dialogue and probably a few more (YAAAWN) strangely bloodless beheadings. What a load of overhyped garbage.
