When? Can't make it tonight.

When do you have time and how long is Part II playing in English?
“Everywhere else in the world is also really old” said Prof. Liu, a renowned historian at Beijing University. “We always learn that China has 5000 years of cultural heritage, and that therefore we are very special. It appears that other places also have some of this heritage stuff. And are also old. Like, really old.”

I called the theatre a couple of days ago and they said it's playing until Sunday at least. 2537-1889

Edit: Actually, found the times here:

OMG I have been wanting to see this movie ever since I saw the trailer. But when it came out, EVERYONE told me that there were only Chinese subtitles, NO ENGLISH!

But now I see that supposedly they are showing an English subbed version at 欣欣. I live right next to it!

Does anyone know if they are still showing the 1st movie with English subs?

I believe so. If you live so close to the cinema, go ask, and ASAP!

Oh damn I just called them, they have one showing for each half(1 and 2) per day. And I just missed both shows today, arrrghh :bluemad:

The showings are 1pm for the 1st movie and 5pm for the 2nd movie. My friend gave me two Seediq Bale movie vouchers so I'm gonna go watch both showings tomorrow, back to back  .

It's interesting cause I called VS-Cinemas and asked if they had English subs, the guy said something about the director not wanting/allowing English subs cause he wants to keep it Chinese. I then called Ambassador theaters and the lady told me that absolutely NO THEATERS in Taiwan have English subs for the movie. Sigh, Taiwan

So you want to see it again? Maybe Tuesday or Wednesday?

I think he meant, that he didn't want the screen cluttered by two sets of subtitles, which is kind of understandable. The English print has only English subtitles.
