Is this some kind of pagan british spell you're tryin to fry my head with here? Do me a favor and don't contradict me dammit, especially when I'm tryin to squeeze in an excellent youtube clip without getting OT'd to temp... For this one topic, you can pretend to be british just to prove my point, it shouldn't be such a hardship, take it like a man. I'll trade you one "you fascist pinko-commie bastard" or a "you hairy-backed kiwi sheepshagger" for it in a later thread, deal?

I'm outraged! And disgusted! by the level of ignorance, jingoistic nationalism and sheer bigotry in this thread. What are you lot? Bloody primary school kids? Haven't you EVER learned any PROPER insults?
I swear, the embarrassment of being (supposedly) insulted by boody Yanks! Its akin to being beaten up by a six-year-old.

My response is only appropriate in the mens forum. Or in Maoman's Japanese soft porn forum.

Your only saving grace in this matter is that, like most other things, the original is superior.

Accent my tuckus, with the largest native English speaking population in the world (as India clearly doesn't fit the category), it's you inbred islander backwood swampland hicks who've got the accent, you don't see American singers singing with a silly english or scottish accent do you? and what accent do ALL movie bad guys have, even when they're Romans and Greeks!

And let's NOT forget who saved your ass in WW2!!!!!

Oh you English are SO superior aren't you...

QED

...and the original might be superior, but we wouldn't know, because we can't understand a damn word of yer jibber jabber

Never got to see it often, but, I always enjoyed Third Rock from the Sun when I was at meetings or visiting family in the States.

As it is, we seem to regard it as a positive objection to a reasoner that he has taken one side or the other. We regard it (in other words) as a positive objection to a reasoner that he has contrived to reach the object of his reasoning. We call a man a bigot or a slave of dogma because he is a thinker who has thought thoroughly and to a definite end.
