I don't get it. How can one not listen to something at home? For me, what I listen to is mostly a means to an ends of adding either sustenance or succour to that day's events. And also as provisions for the morrow.

Silence shores me up. I wish as those sodding birds outside would shut up. I like to clear all the external stimuli out of my brain, at home. Flush out the pipes, so to speak.
