I've got plenty of cooler music, but sometimes it's fun to take a trip down memory lane...

Heard this on the radio today. The lyrics are a bit daft (I think it's about a baby's view of the big bad world) but I like it.

Artist: The Cult
Album: Electric
Track: Aphrodisiac Jacket

First heard this on a Sony Walkman while clearing brush on a farm my g/f and I rented. Produced by the incomparable Rick Rubin, a guy who's going into the history books mega huge. I saw these guys play in Norfolk, VA, a couple years ago. They're the first band I've seen since forever that pushed significantly past the 120dB level, all on the theory that rock should put your eardrums in some jeopardy, I guess. A bit quaint that.

Love this one, especially for the lyrics.

If any new arrival needs assistance in Taipei, I can provide it in exchange for Star Trek or Supernatural (the TV series) stuff or other sci-fi materials. Let me know what help you need by PM, along with what you have to offer in return. And yes, I am serious.
