Vienna Teng. The Atheist Christmas Carol
"When liberty comes with hands dabbled in blood it is hard to shake hands with her." Wilde

"I don't know where the sun beams end and the star light begins. It's all a mystery." Flaming Lips

"a man's position here is not ruled so much by what he can earn as by what he can owe and still remain at large." Letters of a Shanghai Griffin

"It's called the American dream because you have to be asleep to believe it." George Carlin

The American oligarchy spares no pains in promoting the belief that it does not exist, but the success of its disappearing act depends on equally strenuous efforts on the part of an American public anxious to believe in egalitarian fictions and unwilling to see what is hidden in plain sight.

Since I don't know how to properly embed or add a video to my post, those are all great songs! Christmas is really soon. :)

The Best Christmas Music Ever! - Here it is!!!

Once upon a time there were two US tire companies, Firestone and Goodyear. In order to capitalize on the holiday season and increase customer flow, they produced and sold annual Christmas albums at a token rate of about $1.00/album! They figured that it could be a very successful million dollar ad campaign for them and they were correct. They decided that the albums not be one of “cutie” songs like “I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” or “Rudolph”, but rather of classic tunes done by quality artists – a collection worthy to be called "The Great Songs of Christmas" by Goodyear and "Your Favorite Christmas Carols" by Firestone. My family was a "victim" of not one, but both Goodyear and Firestone's annual Christmas album campaigns. Yes, I've got all 10 original Goodyear Albums and all 7 Firestone albums. I've even ripped them all to MP3 so I can enjoy them in an easier to use form than vinyl LP! Does anyone else remember these or have these Christmas albums? Were these marketed anywhere outside of the US and Canada?

I assure you, my friends, that these albums are the best Christmas music ever! Although this posting clearly "date stamps" me as an old fart, I still feel that it's necessary to share this music with you.

Now, without further eloquence, here they are!
