Yup - definitely coming for a change - it's covered in this thread.

How much will the Dylan tickets cost? He'll be able to sell them for a lower price because he'll be able to sell the tickets.

People discuss the tickets in the Dylan thread.

We went last year; I was just a teeny weeny thing when they were THE band, but my hubby is an avid fan. I'll say this: they can put on a great show and are excellent performers; they really engage their audience. Enjoy!

It's kind of sad that air supply has been here many times and we're having problems getting Dylan to come :( .

Here's the deal; If people would stop buying air supply tickets, air supply would stop coming. It's that simple. Nobody really wants them here. People just keep screwing up saying that they really want to see Aerosmith- a band that really should come here. Next time just remember to say rosmith instead of supply and you won't have this problem of bringing really sucky acts here :snooty: .

The difference is that Air Supply actually PAY to play here, not vice versa.
You can live here and have a great life and not be the least bit into living the local life. Clowns will try to diss you for it saying you gotta get down with the program, but fuck em, treat this place like a buffet and yous be on a diet. Take what you want and nothing extra, slam those oysters, but leave the bread sticks and dinner rolls behind. - Deuce Dropper

Just got back from the Janet Jackson Up Close and Personal concert.

Not bad. Better than I thought it would be (I don't really know her stuff much but had to go because my boyfriend is gay and is into Janet).

No complaints about the show and the real fans certainly enjoyed it. The dancing (from both the dancers and Janet) was excellent.

I do have some complaints about the seating though. We had NT$ 5 000 tickets because we were too late to get the NT$ 5 500 tickets which are right in front of the stage. So ours were first row but off to the side, preventing a clear view of the stage and also being too close to see the screens well. Also directly in front of the speakers, ensuring that my skull vibrated throughout. The sound was certainly up close and personal. I'm disappointed that for a show where people are clearly going to want to stand up and dance, all tickets were for chairs. I prefer the most expensive tickets to be for a standing area in front of the stage. Keep the chairs for a concert like Bob Dylan's.

So a good concert, but I'm pissed off at NT$ 5 000 for shoddy seats.

Seriously? Why would they do that?
