Only because of the difficulties in obtaining cocaine before the show. Give 'em a bump and they'll be fine. :D

Most so called prima donnas who come to these shores bring bad ass attitudes ... Elton John, Robbie Williams, to name but just two ...It will be interesting to see how the whole Lady Gaga performance will play out.

Has anyone ever been to their concerts in Taiwan? Some bands don't give very nice shows in Asian countries and I'm concerned..

Been to one, 2009 I think. Unfortunately got tickets way too far away and up. Lousy weather causing some sound problems, plus the people around me were just standing there. Maybe try to get better tickets this time, there seemed to be more action nearer to the stage... the tickets are not super expensive anyway. The show was done with a very good attitude as far as I can tell, and I somehow remember people saying that one Taipei concert (dunno if 2007 or which one) supposedly was especially good. Well, I couldn't tell, since 2009 or so was my first time I saw them. Well, if they are only half as good as the Amorphis/Children of Bodom concert this Sunday, I'll be happy enough.

Where do you find out that these gigs are on? I'm forever finding out that metal bands I wouldn't mind seeing had a concert here after the date!

Gig Guide TW is probably the best source.

Just learned that the Chemical Brothers are coming on 7/26.

I saw them in early 2000 in Melbourne on their Surrender tour and they were fantastic.
