Wow! Thanks for bringing back some great memories. I knew Ann and Nancy way back in the 70s when they first got started playing out of their garage in Seattle. They were really aweful back then! ahahhaahaha They also lived in Taiwan and went to TAS while their father was station in Taiwan as a Marine. After Nancy married a film director, he put her in his movie Fast Times at Ridgemont high where she had the cameo in the corvette and laughed at Judge Reinhold wearing a pirate suit. Which leads me to Phoebe Cates' topless pool scene. Oh yeah!

Alright my mind is wandering. I'm going to download ALL of Hearts albums right now and install them into my Ipod. It's play Heart music day thanks to Jimi!

Yeah....he's on my list, too. I'm starting day 2 of Heart. Yesterday was the following albums.

1976 - Dreamboat Annie
1977 - Little Queen
1978 - Dog and Butterfly

The wife wanted to know why I suddenly went on a Heart kick. I told her it was Jimi's fault and she said, "Say no more, I understand!"

She said it was nice to go a whole day without hearing me blast Chthonic all over the farm!

Awesome. So why isn't this Nori Bucci the muther fucking queen of the world? Or at least the most famous person on Earth. I am in love and deathly afraid of her.

Doc, I know what you mean man, and if you dig Nori, check out her peer in the clip below (I with much trepidation took my 86 year old Dad to see her earlier this year, but fortunately his heart -- and mine -- are strong).

Feiren, I still fondly remember the Joanna Connors show at TAS in Taipei and regret not catching her legendary after-show at the Taichung Blues fest that year. And now, I see your Joanna Connors and raise you Anna Popovic:

I saw Anna at Stevie's Blues Bar in Louisville KY when I went back home over the Lunar New Year this year. It was the last stop on her US tour (after Buddy Guy's place in Chicago the day before) before going to New Orleans to cut an album, and she was sick and audibly congested with a bad cold, but she said (in more or less these words) "I'm gonna sing my best and when I can't sing any more I hope you won't mind if I just play my guitar" -- and my Lord did she do so -- a consummate professional, and incredible beauty as well as musician)!
