Oh yeah...Glenn Greenwald....
(excert)
"Greenwald has garnered much acclaim from the political left. He was interviewed by Amy Goodman on the program Democracy Now!, and was featured on Air America’s Rachel Maddow Show and Majority Report. In 2006 he was given the Koufax Award for Best New Blog.

In 2008 Greenwald became an organizer for Blue America, a political action committee dedicated to campaigning against centrist, non-leftist Democrats. Chief among Blue America’s targets for ouster was Rep. Chris Carney of Pennsylvania. Angered by Carney’s support of President Bush’s domestic-surveillance policies, Greenwald said: “Our goal is to attach a real price to the type of things Chris Carney is doing. If that means he ends up losing, then so be it. I would rather see a smaller majority but fewer Blue Dogs [centrist Democrats] than a big majority with the Blue Dogs in charge.” As of August 2008, Blue America had raised $350,000, of which nearly $100,000 was spent on ads campaigning for Carney’s defeat."

Why is it that after every terrorist attack, there are no apologies from any key muslims but every Western leader rushes to announce/pronounce that "Islam is a religion of peace." Contrast that with the endless Catholic bashing and joke telling that involves priests and young boys.... should all others now rush to announce/pronounce that "but not all priests are pedophiles" before each and every news story?

Just because you choose not to read / listen / pay attention to them, doesn't mean they don't exist.

Let me help you out.

Here's a 68 page PDF with a collection of statements, condemnations etc by prominent Muslim and Muslim groups regarding 9/11. http://www.cair.com/Portals/0/pdf/Septe ... ements.pdf

Here's a similar one re London 7/7 http://www.cair.com/Portals/0/pdf/Conde ... mbings.pdf

And here's a more general collection of links concerning these plus a lot of smaller scale attacks, murders, rapes, vandalism etc. http://www.muhajabah.com/otherscondemn.php

Nobody, including Muslims, disputes that extremist Muslims are committing atrocities. Everyone, including the vast majority of Muslims, condemns those actions.

I can't think of any other situation where so many people seem to think that the actions of a small minority represents the 95+% majority who regularly speak out against it. It defies logic.

Maybe because other religions or organisations weren't founded by a fanatical paedophile who put great swathes of land to the sword and then encouraged his followers to continue his work (which they did, gleefully). People rightly condemn history's other megalomaniacs and delusional psychopaths. Funny that no one goes around trying to claim that Attila the Hun, Genghis Khan, Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitler, etc. were prophets of peace, yet they make all sorts of excuses for Mohammed and the hate speech and general psychopathy central to his religion. If people really are serious about Islam being a religion of peace, then Islam needs to edit its religious works to remove the hate speech, and more of these twits preaching this nonsense need to be tried for hate speech.

These also aren't isolated incidents. The Danish cartoons, Theo Van Gogh, Pym Fortuyn, not to mention people who are still alive who fear for their safety such as Douglas Murray or Aayan Hirsi Ali. Whenever anyone so much as thinks about criticising Islam, all hell breaks loose. Muslims (in Europe) must have the thinnest skins of anyone living there. Muslims in Europe disproportionately cause trouble, from petty crime right up to rape to terrorism. Where are the Chinese, Vietnamese or Polish immigrants in Western Europe trying to blow people up? That's right, there aren't any. Likewise, how gay friendly do you think the Netherlands is going to be when Muslims become a sizable minority and then the majority? Islam is the very antithesis of European liberalism. Sharia law is already being practised in parts of Europe. It's not just the West/Christianity that has issues with Islam. Everywhere Islam shares a border, there is trouble, from Christian West Africa to Buddhist Thailand. It was founded as an intolerant psychopathy and it's been that way ever since. Wake up to yourselves.

It is really rather shameful that the Christians so evenloped Imperial Rome, thus negated the very same force which had kept Europe intact.

You just might want to check your 'time-lines' on what you are proposing. As well as look into a few 'Roman' emperors for their views on the "Christians"....just sayin'...

They are trying to make a living and have businesses they run trying to get by on their own and with help from the family and community ... many of the Muslims are profiting from the social security system, especially in Belgium as it's easy to get and keep. Belgium is so stupid to pay child subsidy even for kids some Muslims have in their home country with other wives. Or suddenly the whole extended family shows up and are kept by the state coffers. And still some inbred idiots have to preach terror in a country that actually keeps them financially.

The lines are intact.
Rome was ripe for degradation, but it was only when the lions were well sated that new levels of evil were reached. When it became "Holy", the rubbish was well realized. Shameless surfing for Sheep, poncey propaganda war, instead of dealing with one's neighbour in regard to water or land, it became about belief.
