Looking for ATM with Maestro withdrawing facility

Hi! I'm looking for an ATM from any bank, shop or hole-in-the-wall in Taipei where I can draw money with my Maestro debit card from home (South Africa). Last year I used the same card in China, Vietnam and Kuala Lumpur and had absolutely NO problems -- but I can't find an ATM in Taipei displaying the Maestro sign, so I can't get to my money! I heard there are ATMs at the Taoyuan airport with Maestro signs -- is this true? If I jave to I'll take a trip to the airport, but it would be so much more convenient if I could just draw money somewhere in Taipei. Can anybody help?

I thought all ATMs could do it. Have you tried putting your card in and seeing if it'll let you (even if there's no sign)?

I would suggest just try any ATM with the Mastercard sign and you should be ok.

Could not find anything in Taipei though, but i suspect maybe my browser was not loading the site properly, as i could not find any ATM's in SA either. So give it a try and see if it works for you.

I know this is scarey to do but yes, I just put the card in the machine to see if it works, some do, some dont. There are not usually any accurate signs explaining which things will work.

With regrds to trusting the machine wont steal my card, It helped that I had a spare backup card from another bank.

Thanks! I have no idea why that site won't work for me, frustrating! Wish I could look it up myself to find more places in Da'an district (I am right near Shi-Da).

I will try the one on Roosevelt road first. Yesterday I found one ATM that works, at the family mart on Roosevelt road, about a block away from guting station. I used Cirrus when asked for the card type.
