OMG! Pictures of the American President meeting someone must mean he LOVES THEM.

Why I remember when Obama met Hu Jintao. It must mean they are BEST BUDDIES.

No. But they probably have shared interests (the countries, not the two guys running them), which is what it's all about at the end of the day.

Yes, just like China.
Just to show that Western leaders do do business with brutal dictators, despite the claims of some.

You attributed a quote to me erroneously...

I agree, they do do business with the worst sort, as long as it's in their interests to do so. It's childlike naivete to think any country does anything for the "good" of it. That's just the fairytales crooked politicians the world over tell the "huddling masses" to make them feel better.

Well I think the end of WWII where many of your fellow citizens died fighting in foreign countries might disagree on that point, they were doing good in general and they knew it too.

Sure, but that was 65 years ago. And the Asian theater was cocked up in the aftermath. Since then, none of that "for the good" has been in evidence.

No, it's not OK to come back into the galley to stretch and bend over with your rear end in my face while I'm in my jump seat during my only break, trying to eat a meal.
