His writing style would seem not to converge with that of the Wuster. I say cracker should stop being so defensive, and even though we might have heard such sentiment quite a few times, I say we should hear it again.

If only because if the situation were somehow reversed, I think certain white trash elements of many an economic class are often violent in both speech and action when confronted with inter-racial sexual relationships in their own neck of the woods.

Just for the record, I would posit that certain perceived proclivities of certain women in Taiwanese society might well have more to do with mass media imagery forcefed, than any real racked up experience. Women here often seem to buy into some woven storyline, with the protagonists of such drama kind of chosen from past exposures, such as HBO or some Hollywood smash hit that arrives here 8 months later.

I should add that I am the last one to trust when it comes to advice about woman. She is quite more than often alluringly incomprehensible. Still, I am an active researcher.

Am I the first female in this thread? I have seen it, but skipped over it. Anyway I have a lot of Taiwanese female friends and co-workers and we talk all the time. And we say things to each other we won't say to most guys.

Most girls in Taiwan from junior high to middle age are curious about foreign men. Yes, some are really into foreign guys for whatever reasons. They are excited by the guys they see in the movies, in videos, in magazines, even if avg Joe foreigner isn't 10% of Brad Pitt, he's there in front of you in real life. They are influenced by our media and pop culture which is all over Taiwan.

Some gals meet a foreign guy just by accident and were not intending to date one. They aren't usually the girls prowling at every night club 3-4 days a week. We all know that's different. Some are just looking for ANY good man to be with.

And as for being easy. How many countries have girls that are easy and those that are saving 'it' for marriage? It was just a title to get attention and try and scare girls away from foreigners. Anything to keep girls away from the "competition" perhaps? Making liberated women out as whores? Some local envy I'm guessing, because if Taiwanese guys were told they were super hot in France the French visa office would explode. Some of my female friends have boring jobs, lives, family pressure and just want some unusual excitement and they know where to go. A few friends told me they make love to western guys just because of what they see in TV shows and yup, western adult videos versus Japanese vids (Which may or may not influence Taiwan) where girls look to be suffering. And No it isn't the size of the "stick". Also the confidence level even avg foreigners have. The open mindedness and maturity, ahem, compared to local guys. English teachers in Taiwan don't live with dad when they are 27. The social skills which you can't get at cram school.

But as you guys have said most girls stay with local guys for the big relationship. Why? Same culture, ease of communication, ways of thinking, family pressure. etc. (Your college gfs say cool, but your 53 year old aunt sees you with that western guy and frowns, then tells mommie). Will he take you away to Australia, Germany, Canada, Nigeria or wherever, will he? So stay safe. Don't take any risks.

I want to comment on the last part though. I have had the unfortunate circumstance of dating (sort of) a girl that wanted to pursue a relationship with me but then bowed to family pressure.

The worst part is they marry the local guy due to culture, communication, ways of thinking, etc, but then complain bitterly afterwards when they have to take care of the nasty mother in law, or date a guy that is spineless in standing up for anything.

They like someone who is openminded, but then run to a closeminded binlang chewing guy because he understands my culture and my mom likes him.

They deserve what they get and I am making it my mission to attempt to figure out who these people are first of all before I waste my time on them like I did before. I am only interested in someone who has a spine to make a decision on their own, and that excludes about 99% of local girls.
