Seriously though, I think when you guys are sitting down having your coffee whatnot on your first date and she says so tell me about yourself. Then you can say where you grew up, what your hobbies are, you were married and divorced. She'll then ask why, and you can tell her then. It is a good idea for a new love interest to know the reason for your divorce upfront so *she* knows what kind of shit she can and can't pull with you. She'll know that you know what you're looking for in a girlfriend and she'll know if this relationship is worth pursuing, because when it doesn't work out to marriage, at least you had let her know upfront why.

But if it's just a casual lady friend or drink buddies you're meeting, there's no need to mention a divorce two years ago, unless you think this lady has potential for further relations.
