This question is about the book THE RULES.

I think Taiwanese girls all go by the rules in that stupid book.

Do Taiwanese girls follow the rules?

Postby Whole Lotta Lotta » 09 Apr 2012, 22:04

There is a book written by two nut-ball women called 'The Rules.' It is supposedly  a book of rules for women who are trying to find a husband while dating. Among the 'Rules' are: Never call him first and rarely return his phone calls. Always say 'no' the first time he asks you for a date and make him ask a second time. Never accept a date for Saturday any earlier than Wednesday, etc.
The idea is to seem more distant to men, so that they will be more attracted to you. They think that the less interest a woman shows in a man, the more the man will be interested in them.
My question is this; Do you think Taiwanese women follow the rules in this book, or would follow them, if they knew about the book. Or do you think there is no way a Taiwanese girl would ever behave like this :ponder: ?

Rules?

That sounds like baiting to me.

Why can't we just all get along huh? Girl likes boy, boy likes girl they talk and confirm their 'like'. Both are people with emotions and opinions, they have to learn to understand each other. Along comes another book to add layers of complications to the oldest thing in the world. Women are from planet earth, Men are from planet earth. Stop fucking it up and making it complicated!

Rule 1. There are no rules.
Just checking but you're a South African Engrish Teachur right? No. I'm a Russian nuclear physicist.

Doesn't your average women's magazine sell 10 pages of the same dumb rules (along with 130 pages of adverts) every month?

Not that I've ever read them. . . . Well, maybe once or twice in a waiting room . . .

A guy should know what the enemy is up to and all . . .

Methinks WLL's time is spent more fruitfully posting in the music threads.
You can live here and have a great life and not be the least bit into living the local life. Clowns will try to diss you for it saying you gotta get down with the program, but fuck em, treat this place like a buffet and yous be on a diet. Take what you want and nothing extra, slam those oysters, but leave the bread sticks and dinner rolls behind. - Deuce Dropper

Maybe I should start a thread about PUA's. Now that would be interesting...

No, I have not read the book.
As for Jimi's post; Life is going well. I have nothing to bitch about.
Oh wait! I met this cool Taiwanese girl this week who knows who ALICE COOPER is! Damnit! What am I complaining about? On to the hardest rocking thread.
