I am 33 and he doesn't like this age?? I guess he's right. At 33 we get grumpy we women.

The couch thing was what I first thought of on reading the news.......PDA.

My problem with Katie was, this guy divorced 2 women, one after nearly 11 years of marriage. If he was a non celebrity, she would never even thought of him. Why leave common sense aside?? She may be a star too.....but at the end of the day, you live with a man not a celebrity. Oh and marrying someone with a pre-nup? If the vows you take during the ceremony are not enough, you should not marry.

Yeah, the PDA, the couch... But the guy's a bit kooky, not all the marbles are there anyways. that, celebrity or otherwise, would have been a warning bell.

I dunno about the prenup, Divea. Nowadays, it is 50/50 right from the start (60/40 in my birth country, actually) for a marriage to stick or go. Ten years is a lifetime, most marriages where I come from last maybe 3 to 5 years. Average people my age have been married at least 2 to 3 times. I wouldn't go for those crazy clauses -5 years, you get one million per year- but at least you should have something written down marking a line along the sand, for if the push comes to shove, a break can be made a civilized and just as humanly possible. And I emphasize the human and the possible. Spoken vows are not enough anymore in this age of craziness. A prenup that covers both parties sort of equally is enough as a starting point.

Maybe a per-nup is a good thing, who am I to know? But it sounds so sad, so untrustworthy and really humiliating. You know? I love you honey, here is the biggest solitaire diamond for our engagement, here is the Italian chateau wedding, I love you, you are the stars of my eyes, and honey you are sexy and darling I want to have kids with you and share my life with you and want you by my side on beaches and mountains and during hurricanes and the movies, but there is no way I am giving you half of what I own if you dump me so sign this paper, and darling, I trust you with my life, and you are the one who makes my heart beat.....blah blah.

I understand not everyone is as stupid or as idealistic as I, but any woman with common sense will see, she means nothing to him, if he needs a bunch of lawyers to tell her what exactly she'll get if she leaves him. Any decent man would give his ex-wife everything and then some, any decent woman would only accept alimony for the upkeep of the kids and nothing else.

And the daft woman didn't know when she was marrying him??? I have never met Cruise, but I know he's in a religion with a scientific name , why would you want a kid or a marriage and it took her 6 years to realize her kid will be inducted into the Church?? BS I say, she wants to get out and she's using the kiddo as an excuse if the reports are to be believed. Truth maybe that she hasn't said a word about it all and it is media speculation!
