well, I dunno about Taipei, might be all more expensive over there. In Taichung not so many places to go and spend 500$ at all :D

Dunno, in Taichung there's a few areas where "white" people hang out, but generally gyms, some more popular parks. I found many foreigners is volunteering in animal rescue organizations, that is free to participate plus you earn karma :)

I don't know about animal rescue, but I really love cats though, just not "crazy cat lady" obsessed because I think one or two cats is enough. What does being involved with animal rescue entail?
Cat-gut strings are made from kitten guts, stretched out to near breaking point and then hardened with grue saliva. As a result these give a feeling of Pain and anguish whenever played, and often end up playing themselves backwards as part of satanic rituals.

Well, they have various activities you can join - like visiting shelters and helping to clean them, walk the dogs etc., or have some adoption events too. Not sure about Taipei ones. But I did go to a shelter event once in Taichung, half of the volunteers was foreigners~ In Taichung pet lovers usually meet in a park near ChenPing Dept. Store, also animal organizations go there on Sundays with some animals for adoption.

Haha, my bf seems to think that 2 cats is already "crazy cat lady", so I can't adopt one more :|

My God, man! Cheer up! Go out a little more and you'll meet tons of interesting western gals who, no, are not trying to be more like Taiwanese girls. May I suggest you join some sport club, like a hiking club? I've met tons of interesting girls this way.

They're not really. Your pussy would eat you if you died. But you wouldn't eat your pussy, would you?

Is that literal or are you trying to be a cunning linguist?

you guys...

as for the topic... I do think that first thing is to think of sth you like, and finding a group of people who will like same thing (be it hiking, animals, etc.). because, if you'll join some community just for girls... well, that won't take you further than shallow relationships.

I do recommend heypersonals yet again, I met my Taiwanese guy there :D

I used to live in Canada for 8 years and seldom seems Asian guys with White girls...probably because I was not living in the big cities like Toronto or Vancouver. There are much more Asian girls dating white guys for sure, both in Taiwan and internationally...Now I am back to Taipei, Taiwan, but I still want to date a white girl because I find myself cannot understand Taiwanese girls very well now lol :) . This can be challenging, though, because I don't know where I can find one. Night club is always not my prior choice...

I personally feel that the biggest difference between white girls and Taiwanese (and Mainland Chinese too) girls is that white girls are much more straightforward  . I don't need to spend too much time to "guess" her mind...Asian girls are more like not willing to tell you what's really in her mind so you have to guess, guess, and guess...and when you guess wrong she would piss you off :( :noway: :roflmao: And also, I find white girls are sexy

I've been out of Taiwan for 10+ years and cannot see myself dating a Taiwanese girl who only grew up here. Find them more fussy, less independent.

May the force be with you.
