It's not just about over-eating. It's about exercise, which might be another character flaw, such as sloth.

But what is character? You, for example, appear to be a person who enjoyed sports in your youth. (Indeed at my age I would say you are still "in" your youth.) Was that something you "willed" yourslef into or was it the natural consequence of being born with a strong body in a place where sports were available? Not everyone is that "lucky". Some people are born with better brains than bodies. Some are not naturally inclined to be very physical. They don't "enjoy" exercise. They are, however, constantly encouraged to eat, and many have jobs that don't allow much time for exercise. Are these peope "character disordered"? You are wrong on so many levels here I can hardly keep up with it.

You are certainly "right" though about needing to be imaginative about how to exercise.

The most likely way I could see myself getting fat or obese is I get to a point where sporting injuries or scooter accidents actually prevent me from exercising.

Gosh, I really hope that if that happens, some kid doesn't insult you for being a useless drain on society. Riding a scooter is a choice, you know.

I agree, there's a big difference in my current posting style compared with early on. I got a lot sharper after I'd had a few nasty personal comments. I'm not realy apologising, though. Tolerance works both ways and I'm expected to tolerate a hell of a lot in order to participate here.
