Not to be an ass, but I'd like to point out that purebreds often have genetic deficiencies. Especially in Taiwan where the dog's parents are most likely brother and sister.

And supporting responsible breeders. I bet you the owner of the female poodle paid quite a bit for the semen of the stud, prize male dog. he also was greedy, with an eye on the profits. This kind of illegal and amateurish practices are the most harmful.

I'd like to propose we back up responsible breeders, highlight why their practices, as professionals, are worth it. True, many professionals in other fields, from electricians to teachers, are not that respected, but eventually, it permeates, like the first time the house burns down due to bad cheap wiring done by an irresponsible shuidien, same with an irresponsible breeder. People need to understand how to differentiate between a white poodle that's been soaked in coffee grounds to be sold as a caramel poodle as a profit and what a real poodle looks like.

The trouble is, simply by breeding show-line 'purebreds', they are forcing the creation of animal predisposed to sickness, discomfort, or pain—not to mention the practice of killing puppies that don't fall into the criteria for what a certain few people think is a cool or fun look for a dog to be born with.

Yes, true. Pure breeds may be pretty but their beauty comes at too great a prize.
