Overnight at airport

Overnight at airport

Postby AliceM » 27 Nov 2014, 06:01

Hi all.

Has anyone ever stayed at the airport overnight with their pets due to a late arriving flight?

Our current flight is scheduled to arrive at 6:30 pm Monday. The quarantine official has stated we need to arrive before 5 to get processed or we must wait until the next morning.

My dog is not going cargo. She is traveling in the cabin with me.

EVA does have a better scheduled flight but that would mean cancelling my United flight and shelling out another $2000.

I brought two cats from Taipei to San Francisco with EVA years ago and they were of a great help in telling me exactly what I needed to do. Contact them straight away and ask them.

There are draconian laws regarding live animals. Do make sure you do not fall outside of those extremely strict guidelines. Otherwise your animals are subject to "destruction" as they put it.
Please make sure everything i is dotted and every t crossed !! No exception.
