Thank you for suggesting Dr. Chen. I asked my friend to call Dr. Chen and talk about the euthanasia issue but Dr. Chen couldn't agree right away with it. The veterinary doctors really want to be assured first that the pet is really suffering before taking such drastic action. Gal stopped eating and drinking water last week. She was not pooping/urinating and she lost a lot of weight. National vet chain didn't want to perform the euthanasia so I took her to another vet that deals with exotic animals, near the Taichung Science Museum and the Pajero Waffle and Coffee shop. The doctor examined Gal and agreed to perform the procedure because the rabbit's backbone was very palpable, and she was gasping for air through her mouth.
