importing lizards

importing lizards

Postby aj.hoolihan » 30 Aug 2015, 00:29

So I know that there's a few threads up about bringing pets in already, but they all seem to be about animals of the furry variety... Does anyone know anything about the laws regarding lizard imports? I'm looking into getting a leopard gecko while I'm here in the States, but I'm probably moving back to TW in September of 2016 and I want to know if I can bring it with me before I buy one. Rabies clearly isn't an issue, and I haven't been able to find anything through searches of the English language internet, so.... Also, if anyone knows how airlines feel about lizards in the main cabin, that would be helpful as well...

thanks! :)

Lizards in the main cabin? How the feck do you think airlines feel about that? "Would you like a bag of flies for Larry sir?"
I always wanted to be somebody, but now I realize I should have been more specific.

Lives animals in the main cabin of an airplane? I hope you aren't travelling through the US. I'd check the CITES(?) list and make sure it's not protected.
Professor Walter Williams has remarked that he’s glad he went to college “before it became fashionable for white people to like black people.”

They sell all kind of lizards in Taiwan, just go to Heping west road, not too far from Longshan temple.
