Good places to take the kids around Halloween?

Postby irishstu » 06 Oct 2009, 17:21

My kids (aged 4 and 2) have got costumes for Halloween this year. We'd like to dress them up and take them out somewhere where other kids might be dressed up.

Does anyone know of any places we might be able to take them?

Mitsokoshi near 101? Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall? Lotus Hill? Anywhere?

Thanks.

Bundle 'em in a taxi or yer car if you have one. Drop by at all of your mates' houses (tell them yer coming so they can prepare goodies and dress up). That way the kids are assured of nice treats and a fun time and you are assured of a nice cold beverage every 40 minutes.
Anyone with kids is welcome to trick or treat me on Halloween. I'll even do some atrocious magic tricks!
You can live here and have a great life and not be the least bit into living the local life. Clowns will try to diss you for it saying you gotta get down with the program, but fuck em, treat this place like a buffet and yous be on a diet. Take what you want and nothing extra, slam those oysters, but leave the bread sticks and dinner rolls behind. - Deuce Dropper

Mine's too wee just now, but what a great idea!
As long as its just the kids and not an excuse for Iris to wear his pink fairy outfit again. Those panties are MUCH too small and tight, Stu, I've told you before. You can see EVERYTHING!

What? 'Fuck it and just go to the pub?'

They don't do the weekend brunch any more? I was looking forward to that on my next visit ...

City Playgroup has a Halloween party every year at my house. I live in a gated community with no cars allowed on the lanes. My neighbours help hand out treats that the parents bring and the kids go dress up and go trick or treating.

Always great fun and always a great turn out.

If you are interested you need to sign up with the cityplaygroup at parentpages as I will out the evite to our mailing list soon.

I assume you will need a driver, so that you can enjoy your cold beverage every 40 minutes :D

heh! Maybe mine's not so young after all, then. Do any fathers go to these groups? Or is it all, like, mums?
