Read this and tell me what you think. I had already heard of cellulose, and that sludge we call OJ, but these guys put it too graphically.

Most of it I already knew ... but it's still shocking to read it and how big industry takes customers for ride ... to get to the money for the shareholders.

BTW, your dark wholewheat hand made farm bread is probably just colored with roasted malt or molasses, with litlle or no fiber except for the cellulose.

What really pisses me off are the false blueberries, or fruit false pretenses of any kind. I mean, fruits are so cheap, drying them is not such a hassle. Why is the fake stuff cheaper? Beats me.

And don't get me started on the bread additives. Ever since I went to my first Bread Fair here, I stopped buying bread of any kind at common bakeries, knowing what's inside. Only reliable German for me.
